We continue to read and study the Word of God because it “…is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Hebrews 4:12). God can reveal something new that we had not seen before or shine light on areas in our lives that need to be dealt with. God is patient and kind, full of compassion and tender mercies.
